Welcome Letter from the President
Welcome to the official website of Delta Sigma Pi – Alpha Pi! Allow me to introduce myself and the Alpha Pi chapter. My name is Jay Kadire. I joined this fraternity during the fall semester of my sophomore year. As a freshman, it was easy to feel lost in such a large campus. After a year of looking for new ways to put myself out there and search for new communities, I decided to rush DSP. I can confidently say this was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life and I’m honored to serve as the President of Alpha Pi for our centennial year.
I now find myself surrounded by over 120 people I call brothers who continue to help me grow professionally and personally. I could not be more excited to give back to an organization that has given me so much. For the last 100 years, thousands of Deltasigs have passed through Alpha Pi to join over 265,000 Delta Sigma Pi alumni nationally, and all experienced similar transformations.
This fraternity brings together diverse perspectives, interests, and passions and provides a launching point for personal and professional growth. This year, our fraternity will host networking events with our corporate partners, resume workshops, and a wide range of community service events including our annual Caroline Symmes Children’s Cancer Gala, to name just a few, in order to further the development of our members.
DSP strives to provide all our members with the resources and connections necessary to grow into the best versions of themselves. My personal goal is to continue the good work of my predecessors, both within the organization and the rest of our great campus, to leave a positive impact on the world around us.
